uncommon, at least at my school highschool is when people usually have their first relationship. middle school dating doesnt count... |

its probably more on the uncommon side but its definitely not rare i would say about 25-30% of people have never been in a relationship by the time they finish high school |

it depends wat school u go to....most of my friends havnt dated cause it's a waste of time if ur not serious about it. 70% would be my guess cause a lot of people date just cause its 'cool' |

I would say more like 25% are in relationships.. I had 250 kids in my high school class and I can think of only a handful of kids that had long-term relationships throughout high school. Now occasional dating... seeing someone probably a bit higher... |

Depends. Some people arent mature enough, or dont know how to go about the whole dating thing. I myself found my first boyfriend at work. We never met before i started there. Here we were in the same grade and everything. crazy huh. We dated all though HS. But honestly i cant say if its common or uncommon. It depends on the person, personality.. and sad to say.. looks. Its HS so everyone is judging everyone. |

of coz its uncommon...!!!this is because in high school is the time for fun..do all what we want..to make relationship with other student is the most best thing as a teenager..so juz be urself |

its common to go thru high school and not date. some people would rather test the waters and see what they like before dating someone. it kinda makes more sense to see what kind of person attracts you the most then dating a bunch of people and get hurt or hurt someone. i couldnt guess a percentage but i would assume it to be lower then 50/50 |

I was never in a relationship in high school. It was uncommon but not unheard of, i'd say. I don't really regret it because high school relationships usually end anyways, and I liked being independent. |

well its fyn nt having a relationship and wll u cant gt in a realationship coz its uncommon to b single! wll i am in highschool and wll i waited till i gt the mr right and now i hav the mr right wth me!its totally common ppl may think various things bt plz dnt get into that jst w8 4 who u want or really like ! and sure the person will come! |

I dont think its common but i do have a friend who never dated anyone in highscool. The first girl he dated he did end up marrying and really it was the first girl he layed eyes on. She didnt even like him at first and then fell madly in love.. |

I donno i think it all depends on the school and the school population. Well with me personally I didn't have my first boyfriend till i was a jr in high school. I had tons and tons of friends a lot of times in school people just date so that they won't be lonely or just to have somebody or at least that what a lot of the people in my school did. I didn't wanna a relationship like that so i waited till the right guy to come along and it turned out to be one of my best guy friends. Were still together, so to answer the question I think it's different from high school to high school and person to person. |

Well, I think about 10% of the highschool population at our school are in a relationship, but I'm not exactly sure how many have dated overall. |
