It disgusts me too. Maybe its her sense of style, or the fact that she gets to party with out celebrities . . . she hasn't really done anything all that great, and she isn't very pretty either. But maybe the guys want boyfriends like her because then they'll get some, if you know what I mean. |

Good question.... She was somewhat known as a model and/or heiress, and then after the sex tape came out, it seemed like everyone knew her. She used that popularity to further her career and start that TV show, and she has about a million smaller companies selling her products now. As much as I hate to admit this, she has been a clever business women, even if it came at the cost of prostituting herself out for the world to see. Rainbow - even if her inheritance is cut, she still has made more than enough money on her own to keep up a similar lifestyle..... sad, but true. |

I’ve known women with as vapid a sense of morality as her, just as little brains as her, and who were just as pretty as her. The only difference between those women and Paris Hilton is that Paris is rich, and is not seen as the s l u t that the other women are seen as. But I read that her grandfather has axed her $60 million inheritance because of her behavior. Guess she’s going to have to do some real work for a living from now on. Hopefully, this will change her. |

The only reason Paris Hilton is so popular, is only because her father owns the Hilton Hotels, and she has the Hilton name. I can't see any other reason, why she would be popular. Very Strange Person! |

Because the media decides it is better to cover stars then real issues, that way you won't actually know what is going on around the world. Personally I think she is ugly. I fall into the "people who hate her" category. Though I don't actually bother watching or reading stuff on her like many people do. From her annorexic figure, her constant drinking and tans (real or artifical I don't know) she has become one of the ugliest (in terms of what society considers pretty) stars in the world today. She usually has circles under her eyes, her skin is extremely wrinkled and saggy, it's also usually very dry lookings, She has no figure, no curves. Her hair is fried and dry, I can't imagine how nasty it must feel. It is my opinion that she looks around the age of 40 compared to most stars. SHe has no talent, and money isn't the only thing, she isn't going to be much in 15 years! |

She's loved and admired? I had no idea. Every time I see "news" about her, it's merely some snarky report on how she got up with the wrong hairstyle or went out to get some chips from the local gas station- to which people proceed to call her fat, a bad mother, a slut, irresponsible, stupid, etc.. all for merely purchasing a bag of chips. Everything she does in her life is up for criticism- look at the replies in here for christ's sake. The media loves to egg this kind of ignorance on. And teenage boys wanting girlfriends like her isn't a compliment. They like her merely for her looks. They want her for a toy, a trophy, a doll. She is not human to them. Their lust for her cannot possibly be a compliment. I do not see admiration over her. I see misogyny in great gatherings where hateful little men and even women vehemently remark over every trite and large aspect of her life- as if they have a real say in her life, as if they are any different than her, as if they are honestly "better" than her. But that's the entertainment industry for you, especially when it comes to women. We are obsessed over finding blondes to beat up. It's sickening. |

I'm sure she might be a nice person in real life, but I thought she was a hot topic to HATE and GOSSIP about..not love and admire. Paris Hilton has worked hard, instead of living on the family's money she's earned her own money. She has no tattoos, she has never said anything bad or mean about anyone, she has talent, style, and grace, and she doesn't offer lame opinions about political and social issues. She's her own person, she doesn't follow how anyone thinks she should be. She's a wonderful role model. |
