Why does Paris Hilton get I really don't like Paris
Hilton, and don't say I'm
jealous because im not.
I read somewhere that she has
had her sentenced shortened
and i read that Paris will be
in a special cell for high
risk inmates. We don't have a
choice really, do we? So why
does this person have to be
seperated from 'normal' prison
cells. She should be treated
the same as 'regular' people,
whether she is ripped apart in
prison or not. What do you
think?

Paris Hilton is different because she's less talented, less interesting than 99% of humanity. So I think she must have got the special treatment out of pity. |

Because that's bureaucracy for you. It sucks. When I first read that headline, it pissed me off. I wonder what they'd do if she murdered someone. Would she still serve only have her sentence because of "good behavior". Anyways, who cares...she's bound to screw up again. |

She does get special treatment but in this case she's not. She's going to jail. Her sentence is halved because most people get the same privilege. If you're good, you get out early on good behavior. |

I agree that she is getting preferential treatment by having a separate cell, however by having a shortened sentence by having "good behavior" is just the state of affairs here in California. The overcrowding of our jail system has allow shorter sentences for lesser offenses to alleviate overcrowding. |

Let her see what reality really is. All the judge did was provide her with a false sense of reality. Paris probably does not know she is laughed at and hated. Next time she breaks the law (and it will happen due to her disrespect for rules that we have to follow) I hope that there is a judge that cant be bribed and given "special treatment" from the Hilton family. |

b/c she is rich... i thought it only happened in 3rd world countries like pakistan, india etc...that you get away with crime if u r rich, or a family member of a rich or famous person.. but i was surprised... ahh well rich and famous can get away with anything... |

That's the way life is, money and fame you are ahead of the game, those like that who mock the system should have to divide there fortune among us, since they are not responsible and don't appreciate what they have.. |
