Why do Christians never (Please don't think that I'm
talking to all Christians
here. I know that some of you
don't do this. But a lot of
you do)
Many Christians call Atheists
and Pagans close-minded, while
in fact, they are the ones
that are close-minded.
You never even CONSIDER the
possibility that the bible is
false and Paganism is the true
religion. Most of you never
even take time to research
Paganism before making your
claims about how we're
obviously controlled by the
Devil and we know it.

They probably are afraid to face the facts that their religions borrowed a lot of Pagan ideas when Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. |

You pretty much answered your own question...they're close-minded (and don't want to admit it) and ignorant (and don't want to do anything about it). As a result, they're unwilling to even consider the possibility that someone else's belief system might be as valid as their own, or might even wind up being the right one while theirs is wrong. |

I did not know paganism was a religion at all. Is there a pagan bible you can share with us? |

Yes, not believing in a bunch of hocus pocus garbage espoused by a bunch of tree-worshipping witch wannabes obviously makes me narrow minded. |

"Most of you never even take time to research Paganism before making your claims" As R3dn3ck_R3b3l_1982 has proven. The Christians that you refer to are taught to be that way. They know no better as their churches and religious leaders do not allow them to question or think outside the box, so we kind of have to cut them a little slack there. That being said, I am pagan, but I don't believe there is one *true* religion, being that we are all unique individuals and spirituality is not a "one size fits all". So I would not expect a Christian to consider something I would not consider. I would however like some of those closed-minded Christians to consider that we don't all have to be exactly the same and that's okay. We can get along despite different spiritual views. If everyone would live their own beliefs instead of worrying so much about others' beliefs and how to "fix" them, perhaps the world could be a more peaceful place. |

The Christian leaders knew that what they were teaching was false but lucrative, the church had amassed great wealth and power. The church used fear tactics to claw its way to the top and any thought that was was not pure Christian was crushed. They used brutal and fearful tactics to keep the people in order. That mind set continues today with nice Christians wishing us to hell, and with a certain amount of glee. What Christians don't know is that many of their practices were borrowed from Pagan rites and that we know the way to to the supreme being better than they do. We don't come to the all power with all the shame and taught anger that they do we have one easy rule," do no harm". Remember your Bible tells you that you shall know them by their fruits. When was the last time you read about a Pagan bombing an abortion clinic, or standing in the streets with signs saying they hate someone for their natural born sexual preference. When did you see Pagans trying to insist that their way of thinking, should be taught in schools... |
