Paganism...?
I am in my teens, and very
fascinated by paganism. Where
can I find DECENT information
on becoming one and rituals,
etc. I already believe I have
a love for nature, but all the
crap about it being devil
worship has made me lose
track...

well maybe because that is paganism, opening the door to things like that opens the door to evil, i wouldn't go there, i suggest you read the bible, it tells you clearly all the information you need on paganism, and its not saying its anything good. |

Western cultures called all other people they did not know well pagans. There were many different and unique 'paganisms' in fact. E.g. you may get acquantted with ancient Baltic religion at http://www.romuva.lt/ (press English flag) |

IGNORE TRAVELBABY SHE IS RETARDED AND NARROW MINDED. why not visit a place where lots of pagans go...where are you from? If your in the UK try visiting Avebury or stonehenge in wiltshire and speak to some Pagans there. I have, they are very friendly people, im in the process of becoming one ps it has nothing to do with the devil...they worship mother nature (the earth) and use her powers to help people |

travelbaby...utter bullshit...Im a pagan I DO NOT practise any 'dark arts'. Paganism is about earth worship. Try the Pagan Federation of Great Britain's website they have some useful information on there. Most pagans do not believe in the christian god or the devil. Although paganism covers many paths I'm sure you will find one that feels right for you. Oh, I do wish some of these christians would actually read up and be a little more open minded to other faiths before they open their mouths to change feet. Good luck with your quest! |

Pagans are diverse in their beliefs, but they are very peace loving people. Nothing to do with devils and such nonsense. |

Jesus is calling you and you are closing the door. You are searching a path to destruction. Turn from God and God will turn from you. The time to make life changing decisions is now. You have to choose your own path. You will live and die by the choices you make in your life. Whenever you make a decision you will have only yourself to blame for the right or wrong choice. Choose wisely. Choose life. Choose God. |

Christianity is just a re-intrepretation of Paganism anyway. I can reccomend any book by Tracey Moorey as a good starting point, she puts everything into an easy to read context and gives good advice for further research. Also try www.paganfederation.org for advice |

Any post about Paganism attracts a bunch of Christians condemning it. I wonder how Christians would like it if every time they posted a question, they had to deal with Pagans telling them that their beliefs were evil? To learn about Paganism, the place to start is Wilcox. You might also want to check out Yahoo groups which deal with Paganism, and search Yahoo 360 for Pagans. The best way to learn about Paganism is to associate with Pagans |
