How can I type correct Spanish In typing Spanish language
correctly you must use accents
and other orthographic signs
which I do not have in my
English language computer. If
not properly typed it's
offensive for those your
writing is directed to.

Go to the insert menu, click symbol, find the font you're using, find and double-click the letter you're looking for. If you have Microsoft Word, it'll give you the shortcut. For example, Alt + 0236 gives you ì. Once you know the shortcut, you can use it anywhere |

If you have an "english keyboard" you will go crazy if you make your computer set it as spanish because the key you press won't match the character you get. The best alternative I found is in Yahoo Widgets and it's called "Accent". You may install Yahoo Widgets in your computer and then search for ths particular widget. It is a bar in your screen that you may set to be topmost (in front of any windows you may be working in). Then you set Accent for Spanish (the one with the red and yellow spanish flag) and you will see all the characters you need in Spanish but they are not in your english keyboard. Whenever you need one of this character you click on the character in Accent's bar and then do to your text and press CTRL+V and there you have it. |

It depends whether you have a PC or an Apple. If you have a PC you can change the language settings by going to the control panel and selecting regional and languages, then select Spanish (and probably Mexican Spanish or any other Latin American country). Then you can switch your keyboard language by clicking ALT and SHIFT, which will allow you to switch back and forth from your English keyboard to the Spanish keyboard. You can then play a little so that you can see all the Spanish symbols you get with your Spanish keyboard and make a note of them for future reference. I work as a translator using a PC, so this what we do to write in Spanish with all the accents and punctuation. |

its easy ... go to control panel > regional and languages > and set ur pc at spanish language .. and if the letters u type in ur keboard ...not match with ur keyboard ...get keyboard of spanish ... or have the stickers of the spanish letters ..and put it over the keys u have .... good luck |

Use the ASCII code. It can be used in all computer keyboards. Alt + 160 = á Alt + 130 = é Alt + 161 = í Alt + 162 = ó Alt + 163 = ú Alt + 164 = ñ Alt + 165 = Ñ |

If you're using Microsoft Word it will Spell Check (and accent check) your writing if you switch your language setting to Spanish. |
