i believe the answer would be no , because of the different types of crystals could be reactive in a acidic surroundings , like tank water. they could also release pH lowering calcium. |

Soak the geod in a glass of water, see if it turns murky. I have never heard of a natural crystal rock (geod) being harmful in water to fish or etc. It may be pretty neat looking underwater with an aquarium light shinning on it. I have geod rocks lining a water pond full of goldfish... I have not had any fish die from the geod. I have seen the fish lay on or next to the geods looking pretty happy. summer.. |
