Circular saw with a Masonry blade. It is a black, gritty blade that is normally used to cut bricks, stone, and concrete. Make sure you put the rock in a vice or other means of support, so you dont lose control of it while trying to cut it (DANGEROUS!). You could also use a Pressure Spitter, but i doubt youd be willing to purchase one of those ($700) to cut a geode! : ) |

While i agree with droptoptommy. there are places that already have pressure splitters that might be willing to cut it for you.. sometimes for free if they arnt busy and its no trouble. Other then that, the circular saw is about the best bet, as it cuts the straightest line and removes the least amount of material from the stone. |
