How to solve this math I cut a roll of red tape into
251 pieces, and then I cut
each of the 251 pieces into 8
smaller pieces. At most how
many cuts did I need to make
to produce the resulting 2008
pieces?
I got 1757, but that was
wrong. Any help is appreciated

I think it's the sum of the initial 251 cuts plus 8 cuts for every one of your 251 pieces 251+8*251=251+2008=2259 Not sure, though... |
